About:

The Black Swamp Arts Festival Juried Art Show is a small, focused, fine arts and fine craft show comprised of 112 booths. The Festival typically receives 250-300 applications. If all past award winners return, 100 artists will be selected for this year's festival. A jury of arts professionals will be selecting artists for this year's Festival.

Process:

Applications (through Zapplication) will be accepted February 1st, 2017 through April 1st, 2017.
The application fee is $35.00.
The jury process: 3 person blind jury panel. Complete by April 31st, 2017. Notifications will be complete by May 15th, 2017. 

Booth Information

Our booths are laid out in quads of four, ensuring that each artist has a corner booth.
Single Booths are $275.00
Double Booths are $550.00

The Black Swamp Arts Festival strives to bring new talent to Bowling Green each year. Our goal is two-fold: to display new, exciting and quality artwork to the public and to give artists a wider following. All booths in the juried show are arranged in quads of four. Each booth is open on one corner with one side facing the main street. This arrangement allows for drive up loading and unloading adjacent to the booth as well as exposes the artwork to the main flow of participant traffic.

The Juried Arts show, along with the Wood County Invitational Art Show, runs Saturday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Artist check-in time is 5:30 am on Saturday morning; please see application guidelines for complete check-in information. Because our festival is on State Rt 25, we can not allow artists to set up before the designated check-in time
