Shadowgrass

When their instrumental prowess earned them a vast social media following, childhood friends Shadowgrass found sudden success. While their influences and listening habits have changed drastically, the group has always grown in the same direction musically. Their commitment to and keen interest in songwriting brings additional dimensions to the band, allowing the group to appeal to listeners outside of the jam-band community.


AJ Lee & Blue Summit

AJ Lee & Blue Summit are an award-winning, energetic, charming, and technically jaw-dropping band who are quickly rising in the national roots music scene. Hailing from Santa Cruz, California, AJ Lee & Blue Summit are so unconcerned with being remembered and with being enshrined, that they have gone about making a collection of songs that will surely be held onto and cherished forever.

Telula

Friday, 9/5; 6:30pm
Telula’s love of funk is evident in their music. They take inspiration from greats like Stevie Wonder and modern masters like Vulfpeck, while incorporating their own pop and jazz influences with contemporary twists.


Leadfoot Granny

Northwest Ohio's Leadfoot Granny is a high energy rock-n-roll band on a rapid rise, gaining attention from national record producers for the recent release of their self-titled debut album and live show.

Duane Betts brings an evolution to traditional Southern rock - infusing soul-stirring blues, raw passion, and six-string mastery. Backed by Palmetto Motel, Betts delivers a dynamic live show with searing guitar solos, heartfelt storytelling, and a mix of classic influences with fresh energy.


Alejandro Escovedo

Alejandro's life in music of all kinds sometimes feels like a swirl through the sky, where his songs point out all the majesty and mystery of how he sees the world. The sounds he makes take him places that he might not even predict, but once there, greatness always follows.


Kendall Street Company

Saturday, 9/6; 6:15pm
The eclectic rock ensemble has drawn comparisons to the jams of Umphrey's McGee and Widespread Panic, songwriting prowess of John Prine, experimental psychedelia of Pink Floyd, progressive jazz-infused rock of Frank Zappa, and humor of Ween and They Might Be Giants. Each concert is an experience unlike any other.


Paul McDonald and the Mourning Doves

Paul McDonald’s voice is immediately recognizable and impossible to ignore. Often compared to legends like Rod Stewart and Bob Dylan, the poetic story-driven narratives and catchy hooks in his music are delivered by a raspy yet refined voice reminiscent of an era that demands to be heard.


Miller & the Other Sinners

Miller and The Other Sinners is a nationally touring Southern Soul band from Buffalo, NY, bringing a blend of gut bucket delta grit, Memphis soul, gospel spirit and funky rhythm and blues. They have an unforgettable show filled with infectious grooves and tremendous musicianship all supporting well written songs that really connect.


Chloe & the Steel Strings

Chloe & the Steel Strings is a 6-piece Cosmic Americana band from Toledo, Ohio, creating a new generation of psychedelic folk rock for artists and dreamers everywhere. With trippy, nostalgic sounds and lyrics that speak to the soul, Chloe & the Steel Strings isn't just a band - it's a community for those brave enough to follow their hearts.
 

Sam Shaba

Sam Shaba is a celebrated Afro-jazz musician, singer-songwriter, guitarist, and cultural ambassador from Malawi. His sound is rooted in African tradition but enriched by global jazz idioms, making his performances both intimate and expansive.

LADAMA

LADAMA is an ensemble of women musicians from across the Americas who perform as a touring band and strive to engage youth in the process of music-making, composition, and audio production. With rhythm and percussion driving their Spanish, Portuguese and English compositions they combine traditional roots music with pop.


Cristina Vane

Sunday, 9/7; 2:00pm
Cristina Vane has a breadth and depth of serious musical skill compiled from countless miles across all kinds of geography. Her sound reflects an amalgam of experiences and a merging of numerous worlds - her classic rock, 90s indie, and heavier roots with her passion for pre-war blues, old time fiddle banjo music, country and bluegrass.


Chris Canas

Known as the “Detroit’s Prince Of The Blues,” Chris Canas has been a driving force in the Detroit music scene for 25 years. Combining a mix of Blues, Funk, and Soul with heart -wrenching vocals, pulse pounding rhythms, and an electric energy that can be felt in the air, Chris Canas is always a fan favorite at festivals and venues.


EMP Group

Sunday, 9/7; 11:00am
EMP returns to the Black Swamp Arts Festival, this time with the largest version of the jazz ensemble to date. Each member of the band pulls from their own unique backgrounds and styles. Bebop, standards, fusion, rock, latin, soul, originals, and all things in between can be expected from this rare orchestration of the EMP Group.
